Ayesha Hashwani 27-4-13 (219)The high society go to designer Ayesha Hashwani presented her resort outing on second day of PFDC sunsilk Fashion week. The cruise collection was designed keeping in mind the upcoming holiday season. While she aimed for a luxury resort wear, it did not quite generated the same feeling through her presentation.

Using silks, chiffons and cottons, Ayesha Hashwani’s collection included a range of seperates as well as draped and flowy dresses with capes accompanying a few tops. The colors ranged from Pinks, canary yellows, blues, oranges, beiges, teals and black. However the collection failed to make an impact in terms of redefining or fitting into the definition of a lazy glamorous afternoon at a resort. This occurred due to the use of embellishment on such clothes.

Because we have seen Ayesha Hashwani do better than this, I felt she did not put her best foot forward and missed the mark somewhere *sigh*. While she worked with the ombre effect in some of the pieces, the collection as a whole came together as a mixed bag with a lot of different stuff going on.
