The red carpet for Emmys this season had a Mindy makeover with so many of the celebs opting for some wonderful colors rocking every bit of it
Girlfriend knew exactly what to do with the gown, and the actress nailed it twirling around the night in her red Jason Wu chiffon number. With slick back hair and red lips, Ms Chopra was just pitch perfect in that gown. And let us just take a moment on that stage, the hotness levels were off the roof with Hiddleston and her and with that twirl – a beauty queen and the majestic british man – that was too much hotness to handle within one frame
This Yummy mummy gave everyone the perfect lesson how to rock pregnancy on red carpet. This woman just slayed it left right and centre in the black Brandon Maxwell number with cutouts – yes – going all natural hair looking the every bit diva in that curly hair, she even rocked it in heels – Gurl SLAY
The Mother of Dragons, wore a dress befitting her character she is famous for, actress Emilia Clarke wore a dress made out of chain-mail – yup all complete with a cowl neck line. The dress fit her like a glove as she sashayed down the red carpet, seemingly crafted onto her body. The Atelier Versace’s contemporary nod to the medieval Game of Thrones was just bang on perfect.
The last person to pull off this Cinderella moment out of the hat was Kristen Bell, but she did it. Keeping her personality intact, the woman proved you can be fab and fun all at the same time. Doing Autumn florals just right in this embroidered Zuhair Murad number, the actress did not shy away from having her princess moment to picking up the whole volume of that gown for an interview, she did it all – pitch perfect marks for keeping the makeup so good
SARAH PAULSON AND TINA FEY
Color was a big one this night with green being one of the highlights on the red carpet. Of the two it was difficult to pick which green number scored most. Sarah Paulson was statuesque in her embellished Prada number. While it did feel a lot to take in, the plunging neckline, the custom Wilfredo earrings and all that embellishment, the more I look at it, the more it grows on me. The emmy winner of the night sparkled no less than the award she won.
It has been a long time since I have seen Tina Fey look that good and an opportunity too good to pass. Tina has usually always been the one who chooses comfort over anything else but the side swept hair sexy-ness, the simple but perfect green gown and a matching set of earrings, Fey just nailed that part sensuous, part herself look with full marks – definitely made people green with envy.
Even though supporting her husband for his role in OJ Simpson, Actress Angela Bassett made sure she was the citrus queen on the red carpet in this Christian Siriano number. Another favorite color of the night, the silhouette could have easily gone wrong but the perfect proportions and how she carried it off was perfect to knock it out the ball park. Sleek hair and rocking some fierce stones, she might not be nominated, but won the redcarpet.
