I’M WEARING: Coat (Zara Man) | Silk Shirt (Zara) | Carrot Fit Trousers (Zara) | Chelsea Boots (The Bronze Snake Shop) | Rings (Various)
My love for color always tends to veer me away and somewhat scares me from a black and white shoot (‘coz you can’t hide behind a lot of things), when I collaborated with Sam for this shoot – it was fun and the possibilities that he could see because of his medium of Black and White Photography – while applying other elements to his compositions… it was way more satisfying and fun than I thought it would be. I went for a bit of different textures that I thought would play better within a black and white shot. A silk shirt with a wool coat and grey pants – cheeky socks and black shoes rounded that look off. Metallic accents like rings and that wallet chain (even against a lighter grey) look so good in a black and white shot – all credit of course goes to the talented Sam.
