Day 5 – MBFWA 16

Day 5 was mostly filled with swimwear and active wear with designers like P.E. Nation making their debuts with forays into activewear, however there were two shows that stood out.


Cyntihia Rowley was quite the international addition to the showcase lineup. Stop!! take a breath, a moment and do yourself a favor..just go through this collection and let it sink in.

Now where does one start when reviewing a show that showcases 20 yrs of a designer’s work. Akira Isogawa in his and MBFW’s 20th year took a step back showcasing and reflecting on what has transpired within all these years. Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Australia Day 1

I know, I know… Apologies are in order and this review long overdue.. but man!! Masters ain’t easy. And projects, internship and personal dramas tend to keep me quite on my toes and busy busy therefore I wasn’t able to give the kind of time I would like to writing. For those who know me, I would rather not put out anything, than to put a sub standard or just skimming through review just because I have to do a post… doesn’t quite really work for me. A big shoutout to those people who have been keeping tabs on me and the blog and my shenanigans on Twitter, facebook and Instagram… hearing me complain, whine but enjoying my work..Thank You. Laid Back Glam   – ELLERY
