I’M WEARING: Kurta (awami by Amir Adnan) / Skinny Jeans (Cotton on) / Kolhapuris(Nagra) / Ring (Flea Market) / Black cuff (asos) / Key cuff (Disney) / Shades (factorie)

One of my favorite pieces from my wardrobe has to be this pink military inspired kurta that was designed (not by me) while I worked as a designer for Amir Adnan. Almost an immediate buy, surprisingly I haven’t donned it for many occassions. Part in the spirit of Mardi Gra and part just because I wanted to, the kurta tunic from the sub brand ‘awami’ is fun majorly due to its striking color. Hints of print via trim avoid it from going overtly serious. With a cloudy day at behest, it was a perfect excuse to for this cotton tunic that is easy and breezy… literally. Who said you need to feel all 50 shades of grey?? just add in a splash of color..hehe. Going with the contrast of oversize-streamline , because it looks good, I paired the kurta with a pair of skinny jeans from cotton on that still fit me despite all the binge eating I have been upto (need to stop that). Pairing it up with kolhapuris, I finished it up with a cuffs and a statement ring. The ASOS black cuff has just become my go to, and along with that I picked up this key shaped adjustable Disney cuff which reminded me of Maliha Rao because of the inscription MADE IN WONDERLAND.. hehe go read her about her and you’ll know why. A statement ring and reflective aviators from factorie accenting the look, tied it all perfectly.
